Welcome to the family Sebastian.
I'm glad to hear there are owners/drivers out there, that we don't know about, who are aware of Fanatics and can benefit from the help available here.

Often wrong...... but never in doubt.

One thing I will ask of you is to somehow get me the last 5 of your VIN, and you may not be able to do this by PM until you make more posts.
The reason is that I try to keep track of SSR's throughout the world

This will give you an idea

Germany - 66
Hungary - 3
Italy - 3
Latvia - 1
Lithuania - 1
Netherlands - 9
Norway - 2
Poland - 2
Russia - 2
Spain - 6
Sweden - 74
Switzerland - 4
Turkey - 1
Ukraine - 1

I have on record 195 in Europe and another 20 in the United Kingdom (England, Ireland, Scotland)

So, there a bunch over there and I try my best to keep track of them, but no way to figure if some have been wrecked
No real way to figure how accurate I am and help from members like you will assist in keeping up to date

Welcome Sebastian from Middle Tennessee, Nashville area. Are you born and raised in Germany or do you have roots from somewhere else. You said your truck has ties to Georgia, well we won't hold that against you. Again welcome, you're always welcome to ask questions and remember we're here to help. Robert.

Thanks, Sebastian

I have about 16000 of the 24000 or so built - I keep getting surprised when I speak with people and find one that I don't know, and yours is one
I have no history on it I can impart but I will run an UNOFFICIAL build sheet for you and post it shortly
I am curious as you mentioned KM's, so it seems it may have been a Z49 Canadian build

Will post my build sheet shortly

Shouldn't be. I suggested grabbing a bunch of them rather than passing on the link to your friends so the cost of shipping would be much lower per unit.

Sebastian, Welcome from Music City USA, Nashville TN. Great to learn the numbers of SSR Fanatics that are throughout Eroupe, UK, Ireland. I am sure that each of you could stir up some dust when traveling as a group on the Autobahn, possible accident due to the rubbernecking with SSRs they are rare on USA roadways even more so in Germany. Congratulations on your wish decision on the SSR.
Regards, Cecil

Now back to the purpose of this thread:

SEBASTIAN to the best site on the web.
I might start a new thread, "Where they are in the world" or something, maybe inviting more info from people around the world
I have about 50 others spread all over the place, including Africa and Singapore - interesting that Brazil went on a TuTone buying spree, maybe one collector
As far as here in Canada, a little trickier with all our privacy issues and I only do things by VIN, but I have 230 recorded - very sure there are a ton more here that I am unaware of

I seem to have a habit of creating more work, trying to work on our SSR history and not really having enough time to do anything properly
On the other hand, we have so many other fabulous members that look after other stuff that I have no idea about - SSR history is my only asset

I could name a few but feel if I tried I would offend those I missed - but we have a ton of very knowledgable people.

Best auto forum site ever, and I have been on a bunch!

Thanks for the note
I am quite familiar with the German Maxx site and was going to recommend it to you, although I think their interest in the SSR has waned over the last couple of years.

Check in with Ruckzuck (Roman) a very active member
There is someone in Belgium (sorry, can't come up with contact info - maybe tomorrow) but Belgium has a good group that meet and that might be close enough for you
"Dicktator" should know who I refer to, but we will figure it out

I have not heard of any German group that meets, but fairly sure they do, given the numbers.
