Hey all, I just want to officially sign up. I am on the fb page and have been posting over there. Just wanted to give you a little bio. My name is Rob. I am buying back my old 2006 RWD TBSS that I had in 2010 and sold it to my brother who traded it in. I located the truck and have been trying to buy it back for the last two years. The current owner dropped a valve and I am buying it as a roller. I leave next Thursday to go to Arkansas to get my baby back. I plan on doing a complete restoration on it. I also own an 1987 Grand National hardtop. During the day I am a Police Detective but cars have always been my passion. My other job is being a Dad of three with number four coming in August. I have been doing body work since I was 16 and have been doing custom work as side jobs for the last 20 years. Once I complete the TBSS, I plan on getting a SSR. I also work directly with Jesse from TMB who offers the 6L90e conversions of our platforms. I look forward to chatting with you all and hope you welcome me into your awesome community.
Cheers
Rob

Welcome to the group and good luck with your quests. Congratulations on the upcoming new member of your family.
Welcome (back) to the family from Middle Georgia and congrats on your (re)purchase!!
Exciting times ahead (for you) putting your baby back on the road again; hope to meet you soon at a family gathering.
Welcome aboard from the ‘Sooner’ state of Oklahoma. Hope you will find the forum to be useful and informative. There is a huge rally coming up in October at Branson, MO in the Ozarks. It should be a lot of fun if you can make it.

It's obvious that you truly loved that Trail Blazer SS and glad you're getting it back. If you think you loved that TBSS, you are REALLY going to LOVE an SSR when you buy one! Especially if it's a Pacific Blue like mine!
:grin2:
Hellooooo from Cincinnati! Hope your restoration goes quickly so you can get into and SSR! It won't surprise me if you then sell your rebuilt TBSS to make room for another R!
Thanks for the warm welcomes fellas. Yes, once the Trailblazer Super Sport (no abbreviations) is done. The plan is to get a six speed SSR for the wife. Of course it will be built to my taste.
