Good to see you’re still around. Been a long time, buddy.
Yes, it has! I'm not only still around, but now retired, so actually have TIME to do the "truly important things in life", like:
- Modifying quick motorcycles to be even quicker! (320cc engine making 52 crank hp at 13k rpm, weight reduced from 344.5 lb to 299.5 lb, and Carbon Fiber wheels)
- Making powerful but too-heavy motorcycles into lightweight missiles!
- Discovering that if you spec out a "stripper" aluminum Ford F-150 carefully, you can get a twin-turbo 2.7 liter Ecoboost 325 hp at 5000 rpm / 400 ft lb at 2750 rpm engine, 3.55 axle, 4250 lb before fuel, "Sport Mode" 10-speed auto trans shifting, and 0 to 60 in 5.55 seconds for $28,700 CDN = $21,500 US, brand new! (The salesman referred to my discovery as "a unicorn"). It's my daily driver now.
One of my heros on a motorcycle forum with the same bike as I currently have (208 hp, in a reduced down to 525 lb 2-wheeled package) does BOTH Texas Mile speed runs (over 190 mph) and drag runs (in the nines, STOCK engine) regularly, and he's over 80 years of age!
There's a serious rumour that life begins at age 65 . . .
