Change of email address !

Note! My email address has changed. The old address was at "MSN". The new one is:

[email protected]

I have updated the first posting in this thread, where the instructions are on how to send funds for the e-book, to reflect the new email address, but did not have time to search the entire thread for occurrences of the old email address!

Whether buying the e-book, asking for the sample, or just writing to me, please be sure to use:

[email protected]

thanks!

You must never sleep!

I am anxious to find out if there is a way I can mount the spare under the SSR and still be able to use a trailer hitch. I have a teardrop camper and want to be able to use the SSR as my tow vehicle. Not a lot of storage space in the tear so this could make or break the possibility of an SSR for me. I will be doing some fun Mother's Day reading! Thanks again for all your work compiling this and for sending it so quickly.

Without turning this e-book ad into a trailering thread, I would just mention that back in 2005, there was a series of threads on both trailering with the SSR and on the spare tire issue. Look them up using the "search" feature.

Quick summary on trailering: very limited capability. Examine the prior threads carefully and fully. The engine cooling and transmission cooling are significant limitations on the SSR.

Yes, I am working two jobs right now, 7 days per week, in an effort to restore some of what was lost during 2 1/2 years of almost no meaningful paying work. I normally get up around 4:45am now, which is how I found your post.

Hi, Tom! Thank-you for your order. I emailed you the e-book, but you must have mistyped my email address when attempting to make the payment. The correct spelling is:

[email protected]

Resist the temptation to put another vowel between the "G" and the "n". I know it is unnatural, but this is the way my Dad and his Dad before him spelled it, so I am stuck with it . . .

I answered your questions too in my reply email!

Jim, I liked your book so much that I printed a color hard copy and had it bound and covered front and back with soft plastic.

A number of people have done something similar, but the cost of doing it for one copy is pretty high. That is why the book has right from the beginning been an e-book. If I had tried to get it commercially printed, with all those full color high res photos and charts, it would have been a giant money pit, as the total market for a book on the SSR, even if EVERY owner bought one, is so tiny.

But I know what you mean about a hard copy being nice. 6 years ago when I wrote the book, an e-book was still " radical". Now, it's where the entire book industry is going. We are in an era of unprecedented rate of change.
