Being retired is terrible, there's never enough time to get everything done.

Often wrong...... but never in doubt.

Just my 2 cents. I heard Top of the Rock was a cool attraction too! Especially the Lost Canyon Cave and Nature trails. You ride on golf carts through the caves and trails!

The Top of the Rock is a fantastic place to visit. It will be one of the attractions that will be listed for the Tuesday cruises. There are so many places in Branson, it will be up to each individual on Tuesday to pick the ones they would like to see on their own. As of today, we have 58 Fanatics coming in before the Rally starts, and we have some staying after the Rally to make it a longer vacation and to have the opportunity to see more attractions.

The other places that we know people might want to see are Dogwood Canyon, the fish hatchery, maybe taking the tour through Table Rock Dam, see College of the Ozarks, and the list goes on. We know there will be several Fanatics who will want to go to the Sight and Sound Theater to see the show, Samson. There are, also, many attractions within the 30-mile radius of Branson. Springfield offers Wonders of Wildlife Museum at Bass Pro, as well as Fantastic Caverns that was part of the first International Rally in Springfield. Representatives from the Branson Convention and Visitors Bureau will be available at the hotel on Monday during the Rally to help individuals know what is available to see and do in Branson. If anyone wants a Branson information packet, you can contact the Branson CVB, and they will mail you one.

Have you looked at the forms in post #3 in this thread? If not those should answer your questions. If you are still having problems send me a PM with contact information and maybe I can help.

At the 2019 International Rally, there will be adequate parking provided for everyone at the Chateau. We will have designated areas for the SSR Rally.

The only thing I forgot to ask is, if anyone requires handicapped parking, please private message me so I can make sure we will have the needed handicapped spaces reserved.

As of today, we have 212 reservations booked with the hotel. If anyone is needing a room, you need to call and make your reservations now, because we have just a few rooms available. Also, to date, we have received paid registrations from 173 pilots and co-pilots that include a total of 98 SSRs registered from 27 different states and Canada and Ireland.

Auto auction too

We're in Branson right now for a few nights and found out about an auto auction happening the following weekend of the rally. Friday and Saturday the 18th and 19th is the Branson auto auction. It's been held for 40 years and is decent sized. So for those staying a few extra days they may want to check out the showing of cars. bransonauction.com is their site.

UPDATE ON THE POLO SHIRTS:

I should have the order form posted by the first of June. We are going through the process of selecting a shirt that everyone will enjoy wearing. I will try to do it sooner, but most likely it will be around the first of June.

What is Silver Dollar City?

Silver Dollar City is an internationally awarded 1880s-style theme park in Branson. It includes 40 rides and attractions, live shows and concerts, 100 resident craftsmen demonstrating America's heritage crafts, restaurants, and unique shops. They offer festivals and events from spring through Christmas (when there are over 6.5 million Christmas lights on display.) At the time of our International Rally, they will be having the Harvest Festival, which will include additional artisans and specialty fall foods.

There have been inquiries concerning the Silver Dollar City SSR Show and Shine parking questions on the Activity and Show Registration form. To help clarify, the blank after the first option listed, "Silver Dollar City SSR Show and Shine Participants" is to be checked if you want to participate in the truck show and reserve a space for this in the Preferred Parking area, where the show will be held. You may, also, stay parked in this same space if you want to visit the park after the show is over.

The second option, "Parking for Entering Silver Dollar City Only" should be checked if you want to park in the Preferred Parking area to attend Silver Dollar City and not participate in the truck show.

The third option is for pre-purchasing tickets for Silver Dollar City, and in those blanks, you need to indicate how many tickets you would like to purchase and the money amount enclosed with the form for these tickets.

If you do not plan to attend the truck show or Silver Dollar City, you do not need to check any blanks. However, if you have a change in plans and decide at the time of the Rally to attend one or both, there will be a $15 fee for parking the day of the event as you enter the Preferred Parking lot. Prior to the event, I have to give Silver Dollar City an accurate parking count so the area can be roped off.
