Please check posts #2 and #3 to see if your registration and t-shirt order has been received. Tee order goes in on Monday, 3/6/17, to ensure receipt by run date. If your order "is in the mail" please post here, send a PM, or email me at [email protected] and let me know how many and what sizes your registration/order includes.

See ya all soon

There is rain forecast for a good portion of my trip from Hollister to Laughlin. My truck will be a mess. I have contacted a detailer to come to the hotel on Saturday morning to wash my truck. The name of the detailer is The Mobile Washers and his number is (928) 201-8677. Ratings on both Yelp and YP.com are all 5 star. If you're interested give him a call.

Thanks Dennis for doing this. What time are they going to be there for you? Right now it looks like clear, sunny skies in the Laughlin area on Thursday through Sunday. Temps expected to be in the high 70s, perhaps low 80s.

Post #4 has been updated with times & places of activities.

Weather is expected to be in the high 70s, possibly 80s so you might want to include some warm weather clothing. Also needed will be a remote controlled car of any kind for the RC RACES at the show & shine.

All confirmation cards have gone out except for two late registrations, hopefully they will receive their's prior to leaving for Laughlin.

For me he will be there Saturday morning at 7:00 am. He seemed very interested in doing other trucks.

In post 97 above I provided the phone number for a mobile car washing service. I think the Russians must have hacked it and changed the number I provided to an incorrect one. I have now corrected it. Hope the error didn't cause anyone problems.

Secure parking for all SSRs is the top floor of the Edgewater Parking Garage. Security patrols regularly and is viewable from your room if you're high enough and on the garage side of the hotel.

As of today no rain is expected. We did have a drizzle one year but it wasn't bad...much better than the wind!

See you all on Friday at the Meet & Greet 3-6 in the Riverview Room at the Edgewater.

Since its not recommended we have large caravans due to lights and traffic on Stockton Hill Road in Kingman, Driver Meeting prior to leaving for the Show & Shine has been cancelled. Approximate drive time from Laughlin to Kingman is 45 minutes.

Drive safe everyone...see you soon!

Hello All

Got into Laughlin a little early, weather was perfect during the drive from SO Cal with Bluestreak and Nightranger, already a dozen or more SSR's on site.

Thanks to all the folks who had a hand in putting this together, as it's my first one I'm already pretty impressed with how organized this event is.
Thank you thank you thank you.

Does anyone have any pictures? My old partner-in-crime, AC Rob, was texting me Saturday morning and I had nothing. Proves that even though he sold his truck he just can't leave us behind completely

I will post up award winners in a bit...as soon as I locate my list.

Yeppers...thank you Linda for the centerpieces, Lloyd for getting the patches done, Gerry for her fun and games (only an elementary teacher is capable of this) and doing the Sonic Run along with Lloyd. Also Fuji for helping out and Carl for making the contact with Kingman Chevrolet that resulted in a great show & shine and food, food, food

And thank you!!! to Ev for her willingness to accompany 240 Gordy back to Laughlin from Kingman, broken knee and all, so he could fulfill his MC duties. I hope you recover quickly and fully.

Many thanks as well to those that contributed to the door prizes and auctions. After all the bills are paid there should be a bit of seed money left to go towards another Springtime West Coast event in 2018.

From this point forward I am back to being artsmart and river run will be taking a rest (who knows for how long)
