Probably can't make the Rally in the valley this year...if I do will be last minute...we are moving from Illinois to Arkansas this year and will be very busy with all of that this spring... next year will be a top priority

roger, take a few days off and get your A DOUBLE S to Maggie Valley in May. That's 4 months away ... that gives you 16 weekends to get to be a full fledged "Arkansas Traveler" !!! Are you moving by Mule train or 2 Men and a Truck ??? This is the inaugural Rally in the Valley hosted by Michael & Linda SSRoe and they would appreciate you and "Thelma Lou" being there. Jan & I are going, just not registering ... just winging it. Usually the Smoky Mountain Classic Chevy Show is that weekend too in Pigeon Forge, so we'll probably stop by there on Saturday on the way home. We'll just be one more Redline Red SSR in the Valley on Thursday & Friday

This will be our second Maggie Valley Rally. Some may remember our first one a couple of years ago. The truck would not start back up after loading under the portico at the Con. Center. After a lot of debate, starter.....etc. turned out to be a bad switch. Got it started again and it was suggested "just don't turn it off again 'til you get home" Three hour drive north through the mountains at night, to the VA border. Yeah, that was a little nervous. No problems though. Put in a new switch and carry a spare.
Thanks again to all the great help and friendship at the time. We had not had the truck very long, and met some great people.

If you call The VALLEY INN do not tell them that you are asking for the SSR discount price.
I did not post a SSR rate at that motel, only at the Convention Center they already have low prices.
There are only 4 rooms left available then they will be FULL.
One of the rooms is a Smoking room.

Michael,

You might want to list Larry and Ken separately as they will be registering and bringing their own trucks. Not sure all 3 of us could fit in mine.
