I still can't believe that there isn't anyone but me from Kansas. Thank God for the Oakies and the Texicans.

I know there are several near KC and I know that Mrs Fuzzy and Storm are in the state somewhere. You are obviously not looking hard enough!

Just checked the pin map and there is a Slingshot Yellow in Haysville. Don't get too excited I just noticed it was you. Never mind. Keep looking. Same thing here in South Dakota. See them all the time but no humans around and left notes but no contact and they are not on the forum.

I know. I've seen several around and have posted on Facebook even the local town groups nothing. It's just strange to me that they wouldn't respond. Went to a coffee and cars thing Saturday morning and over 400 cars. I had the only SSR there. Talked to a bunch of guys, but none of them knew anyone that had a truck.

2004 in Black and now 2005 in Black, what a pair
I know there is a guy out in Topeka area who has a black one and had a red one. I looked at the red one when it was for sale. I think it was SSReplay who bought it but the guy also has a nice low mileage black one.

That's not unusual Dave ... a lot of "car" people has never even seen an SSR, let alone know what one is. The guy outside our entrance gate, which I only see 4 or 5 times in the summer when he is cutting his grass even told me his Black one was a 2007 I didn't correct him or tell him otherwise, cause he never drives it ... so who cares.

Hey!!! I'm from Kansas! Doesn't that count? ...ok, that was over 30 years ago.

But seriously, there's a number of us that live in the hinter lands with limited SSR population. Like Auggie, there's at least a half dozen SSR's here in Albuquerque but none of them want to come out and play. The closest Fanatic to me is Art in Las Cruces NM, a 3.5 hour drive. Other than that, I have to go 7 hours to Denver or Phoenix or more to go to Texas. At least there's this forum to keep the juices flowing.

I'm just outside of Hiawatha, Ks. In very NE Kansas. 40 miles from Missouri and 14 miles from Nebraska. Not many other Rs around here. There are a couple in St Joseph, Mo and the already mentioned group of great guys in the KC area. If ever in my area stop by, our door is always open.
Keep looking, there have to be some owners in your immediate area.

Good to hear from some more people from Kansas. Now if I could get some of the local area guys to sound off.
