Did you ever go to removing the muffler and go to a straight pipe?

Wanna get it done, most comments were from those with the 2005-06 and higher HP SSR

I've ordered a cutout, giving me straight pipes, with a flick of a switch for my 2004, 5.3. Going to have the cutout tied back into the tailpipes, bypassing the muffler (as was done by Dave Rasmussen). The concept is to route the sound to the back rather than dumping it under the cab. Waiting for the cutout to arrive, will post up my impression once the installation is completed.
