My SSR:
04 Silver/Race Stripes 4:10 gears tuned at 130mph lowered 2"
Packing to fly out to Texas for Rally.

Bringing latest Roof Pump Reservoir 3D printed and duplicate of OEM except longer for easy fill. Been long expensive project to get right material and fit. Found critical "material, fit and OEM "0"ring". 3D print was only way to duplicate reservoir successfully, tried machine shops, to inconsistent reproduction.

Installed on my SSR this weekend, no leaks, no runs, no errors.

Also bringing metal couplers for broken/cut Roof Hydraulic Hose. Splice repair for hose.

Dicktator

1. This is my pump reservoir that I removed which was NOT leaking but look at what I found inside. "SLUDE" and lots of it!
2. New 3D printed pump reservoir installed on my SSR.
3. Have NEW "0" rings for pump reservoir, OEM size, not available at Hardware Store. also clamp OEM made in Germany. Need to transfer YOUR OEM clamp to new pump reservoir.
4. Bringing reservoir and couplers.

I'm bringing the following parts if needed by any of the attendees:

RH inner door pull ( upgraded 2006 version)
two sets of satin A/C knobs
used A/C control module with no wear on buttons.
very nice satin steering wheel with near perfect leather and switches.
New OEM Chrome front hood trim.

Console Poppers ($10ea. installed)
Visor angle fix spacers and visor extensions.

If anyone is interested I also have a usable hood liner that has a few small rips from the prop rod. If anyone is interested in this let me know before Saturday and I'll bring it.

Gloria is still in her open toe medical shoe after her foot surgery. The Dr said not to get her foot wet. As it looks like rain Saturday, we are not going to take a chance on getting her foot wet, so we will not be there.
Sorry we will miss the fun and the FOOD.

Thanks to @True Blue and Liz for inviting us all out there and hosting. Awesome hosts and thanks to everyone that helped put on such a great event.

I had a great time working with @TLM , @Curbsssr and @Texasbaehr and many others. Thanks @Daverobertson for jumping in and helping out!

Really enjoyed picking up and hanging out with @Dicktator for a while and then getting to work with him today. @Mike in AZ , rolled in with tons of parts and help... Thank you both for coming!

Thanks to Mike for hand carrying the parts from Arizona.

Thank you Dicktator for your wise words and guidance.

A BIG SPECIAL THANK YOU to Lester and Liz for providing their super hospitality, great food, the art project for our special SSR Ladies and a great work facility and shop.

Thumbs up A GREAT Time.....

Wow, and I thought last year's Winnie Tech Day was fantastic!! (It was!) This year's was bigger and even better.

South Texas Tech-Day - Winnie II-images-4.jpeg

A Texas size thanks to Lester & Liz for being so generous with their beautiful home and facilities. The only thing better than the food was all of the Fanatic comraderie. Much appreciation Lester & Liz....it was hospitality at its finest!!

I personally want to thank the crew of Fanatics who worked on my truck. Robert & Terry along with Dave installed shocks on the Black Knight while Gary (river_rat) installed a safeguard to my hydraulics for the top hinges. The ride difference was very noticeable on the trip home this morning.

■□■ - Also want to give a special thank you to Dave (Lakedweller2) for graciously allowing me to "adopt" his new rear Bilsteins. Thanks Dave.

It was great seeing Mike Moro and Dicktator there as well sharing all their knowledge and assistance for the benefit of the rest of us.

All the wives were busy with craft making and as a result we now have a beautiful painted pot & saucer for our patio. Very nice job, ladies!!

It really doesn't get much better than this. Thanks again Fanatics!!

My first time to a maintenance event and I was extremely impressed not only by the great facility and food provided by Lester (True Blue) and Liz, but the walking encyclopedias of technical and mechanical knowledge that so willingly fixed a whole bunch of infected Rs with one kind of problem or another.

A special thanks to Terry and Robert for installing my shocks and all the other guys (too many to mention) that were tackling the impossible and making all problems disappear. (Of course thanks to Mike and Dicktator for traveling so far and contributing so much).

There is one common thread that is apparent when attending a SSR event: there are no strangers...only new and old friends.

Thanks to everyone that attended (David: I am filing a petition for visitation rights on those shocks).

We would also like to thank Liz and Lester for hosting another great get-together, Delaine, Brian, Belinda and Mike for assisting in cooking and organizing with the event, Margaret and Frank in organizing rounding up the herd, Sue and Larry for bringing the great chairs, Debbie for bringing raffle tickets, Dicktator and Mike for always being willing to help and educate us fanatics as well as all the others who pitched in to work on the various trucks. (How’s that for a run-on sentence). Enjoyed great food, activities, camaraderie, seeing old acquaintances, meeting new folks and of course, bull sessions.

Help, I had a new ignition switch installed, drove home yesterday, and today my car won't start. The battery is completely dead, and engine/or starter doesn't even crank. Any ideas of what could be wrong? My battery is fairly new.

Thanks,
Kay
