I just looked up some production numbers but hit a dead end.
7279 total SSR's produced in 2005
5642 automatics
1637 six speeds
That is as far as I could get stats on so it looks like about 22% of the total produced that year were six speeds. So if we knew how many were yellow and they used that same ratio that would give you a ball park figure.
Anyone know how many yellows for 2005?
Okay someone above said 1347 were yellow so plug in the 22% and you get a number of about 296 were Yellow six speeds. Give or take a few.
That is as close as I can figure it. Anyone else got a better number???
I am trying to sort them out but there is no way of telling how many of each colour until I find about 500 more
I have confirmed just over 1700 of the 2213 total 6sp.
I plug away at it every other day or so, but my guess is, on a 4 to 1 ratio, I am going to have to run about 2000 more build sheets, so don't hold your breath.
Those numbers are correct but no one including GM has broken down the 1637 - 6sp into colours
I imagine GM has that info somewhere but it was not published
