Belated Xmas gift - new Hitch in original box

A corvette bud told me about this item he heard was available and thought it would compliment my truck for sale in spring. Knowing I dig neat original items I'm told this Hitch was ordered new by a relative that just took delivery of a new R. It was supposed to come with the new truck and didn't. Awhile later, It was decided this truck wasn't to be used for trailering so the box sat on a shelf, unopened, never used until inspected for me in December for picture taking prior to commitment. The pics show a new in the bag hitch, instruction sheet, keys on a rubber band and the box with various stickers, address, part numbers and Post Office stampings. Box is fairly dusty form sitting many years Undisturbed. This would make a really neat tailgate item for a rally or Branson. I doubt I will ever use it but in case some of you newer fanatics have never seen one in the box like it came from the factory, here you go.

Sorry, I need to edit this as I got the VIN history screwed up

I thought I had a very good lead to find the current owner.
My point was, I think the VR4 should be re-united with the SSR - #21177
If the owner is a true SSR person, they should want it - at the very least the box the VR4 was delivered in.
If they don't, then sell the darn thing
I think all of the stuff that was on the original Build Sheet should remain with the SSR

Hey Dennis
Thanks - weird to think a bit of cardboard should mean anything - at least IMO
I am in a "search" trying to locate all 2005 6sp SSR's and you in the 18700's in the midst of a bunch - just takes so much time.

I enjoyed meeting you and love what you have done with your SSR - both the SSR and trailer are drop dead gorgeous!
I hope I can enjoy seeing them again

So back to the Hitch story.

Thought I would show the Installation Sheet supplied by the factory that was folded in the box in case it was going to be installed by someone Mechanically Challenged. At this point I have an offer for it but the new season is just around the corner and the novelty hasn't worn off yet. But, I could be persuaded.
