Fastest Color

There have been any number of threads about which color is the fastest. The winner of today’s Indy 500 proved that yellow is indeed the fastest.

hmmmmmmmm...I notice there is also some Black on that Winner... But....I have figured out what the Fastest would be...Any R going over a straight drop cliff, would fall at the same rate of Speed...All Equal, color not figured in. lol

But terminal velocity is slower than powered velocity. My has gone faster than 120 MPH. That is not a valid arguement.

You also forgot to factor in that the color yellow is lighter and therefore it is faster because it has less friction and can slip through the air and stratus sphere at much faster speeds then any other color in the rainbow or spectrum. All these facts can be verified by checking with Al Gore who invented the internet. So this must be true.

But yellow is in the middle of the spectrum so, by definition it's speed is between red and blue.

I agree until you live on a dirt road and have to clean it after you clean it. Give me a light color please. Always looks clean where a black car needs cleaning right after you clean it. I do admit I love the looks of a black one in a climate controlled shop right after that detail is done. Had many black vehicles in my 75 years and struggled with cleaning and swirls for most of those years. To each his or her own.

I have read all the posts...….Blues are faster than a taxi.....Blues are faster and better looking than a car that does not know what color it is.....Blues are faster than a SSR than is just primer.....Blues are faster than a SSR that have never hit the red line on the tachometer....

in fact ,, there is two fellow SSR fanatic who are afraid to drive their yellow ssr because they might get a ticket for being too slow on the roads....

Blue , black and gray. Most popular colors for sedans, and minivans which aren’t very fast.

Well Jack - just not so sure - 16 of the first Ex VIN s were the first 48 (i lonely black were Redline)
GM, other than the UV made there stamp on the Redline
First year (MY2003) was Red, Black, Yellow
I got so sick of trying to keep my Black vehicles clean - even in my yute so the Smoking thing is not my choice
6645 of the total were
They ran out of :paint and had to do a bunch of and sort of like a bruise and of course I always want to park beside a Slingshot to keep the bugs off my stunning
Did I ever mention I am partial to Red vehicles?
You are a Henry Ford fan I can tell! I think before they invented red, yellow etc
Your SSR is incredible by the way - I just woudn't want to to do the maintenance!
