OEM Part or?

I've been looking at the pictures of the prototype since I bought the book. I like the satin brushed trim on the tailgate that resembles the front trim. It goes from the Bowtie, both directions to the taillights. Is it a real part that can be bought somewhere?

Gary at Florida Stainless has what you are looking for but in Chrome.
I like that look also and bought a set a couple weeks ago.

Contact Vetterman, he has it in Stainless Steel.
Here's the eBay listing.

To make a Satin Finish, I seem to remember that you can sand it down.

The only one I have seen that is really like the one on the Prototype is the one on AutoDan's truck and he made it himself and it was a pain in the butt. It is a billet piece that matches the curve and has no other bends in it. The depth changes so it is smooth all the way across and is about an inch thick in some places. A real work of art.
