Question on factory SSR coffee cups...

I also got two SSR coffee cups that he said was given out at factory. Odd that they are in this color. Anyone know much about these or how many exist? I had never seen them before. Thanks!

I don't have info on the cups but they are really cool! Question the color as well but I love it!

They certainly could have come from the LCC factory as a gift handout but I would tend to believe that the UAW Union at LCC would have frowned on the Plant using an obvious China supplier. Perhaps if there is still a LCC past worker on our site they could chime in on this topic.

I know that when I worked in the UAW/GM Suggestion Department (for nearly 30 years out of my 48 years) we were not allowed to buy anything unless it was Made in America and preferably Union Made also!
HUAW and Auggie Doggie like this.

I understand your concern but in talking to this man, I have no doubt about the cups. His stories about the place and items he had in his home showed he was there. I even was able to get a chrome SSR six speed knob from him as he told me they made a few..then canceled when they discovered they burned drivers hands when in sun! Very nice man....

I imagine trying to find a china manufacture in U.S. back then was nearly impossible.
