Thumbs up SSR in Hemmings 0519

I tried to upload pictures of the cover & the page in Hemmings May issue,
about the SSR, Hemmings has listed the SSR as a MODERN CLASSIC with a 4 star value of Collectibility.
I don't know why I can't upload the pictures,but I tried.

Try uploading pictures 1 at a time. Same here, started out with one I'm up to 4 now. Go figure

All I could capture is the cover, but would love to see the story.

A number of people claimed to have had problems and got the same message, but I don't remember any saying what the fix was. Blue Streak might know.

So far the problem seems to come from trying to load too many pictures at the same time or the pictures are too big. The 5 picture limit per post is still in place and if you use the drag and drop make sure you let the picture resize before you try to load the next one. If you use the find the file and put it in the list method you have to make sure the size fits the limits. if you still have issues then try load ing one at first and the rest by using the edit function. Let me know what works and what does not. The Administrators are aware of the problem but need information about when it happens in order to trouble shoot it. I hope this helps. I am not a trouble shooter, just a messenger.

I have tried to get VIN"s out of Hemmings but they are pretty closed, so it could be an issue with them trying to get info, but would be nice to get that as for once we might get a positive article about the SSR

edit - I just called Hemmings and we can read the article in a few days, just hit Hemmings.com when the May mag comes out - hopefully, someone can copy it - it seems they like the SSR - thank heaven for some positive gnus, other than us that love them - HaHa!

OK, got access and did a screen capture then cropped to show just this article. The article is optimistic about projected future value but a big error on reporting a 6-speed manual was available on the early models.

Thanks, Johnny B for letting us all know about the article.

Fingers crossed the article is legible in the attached photo

edit - Yes! It clear enough to read, enjoy.

Hey, wasn't thinking clearly when I initiated the previous post, nor was I sure the pictures would turn out, but if anyone would like copies of these articles you can copy the attached files or I'd be glad to send you copies (might be a better quality?), just ping me an Email to [email protected]. I'm going to print and frame the picture of the cover and one of the versions of the article page as a keepsake for myself.

1... Cover Page
2... Article Page with miscellaneous topics (above and below)slightly faded out
3... Article Page (no modification)
4... Article alone. I also have this in portrait mode, not shown but similar, only rotated 90 degrees

All pages sized to 8.5 x 11

The May 2019 issue of Hemmings Motor News with the SSR article is available in digital as well as print now. I don't subscribe but I bought two print copies... one to read and carry with me to shows and one to put in a hermetically sealed time capsule for the next owner when I'm gone.

Thank you for letting us see what Hemmings published - and it is so positive.

Not that this is a bad thing as there is no unfortunate looking SSR, but why does every article have about as Plain Jane Redline or Slingshot SSR ever built?
We are proud of every SSR but certainly since the 50's, GM started building different grades of finish.
Why don't we ever see a full load SSR in one of the crap articles?
Ever displayed is the Redline, satin wheels, no boards
