silver 04 Added Mikes Radiator support/fan, hood strut kit, rear deck struts, trans fix
today

Taking R to paint shop today to add some of the raspberry on the doors and add some silver flames. Flames will be from bottom of font fenders extending to the rear just past the rear tire. Waiting on my side pipes, ZZR did some brackets for me so that's next after the paint. I will post the makeover. Can't wait

Removed some old newspapers out of the passenger side floor. I put them down when my grandson got in with his work boots on. Rode around trying to get a signal for my cell. Nothing. When my technical wife got home she turned it off and back on and it works now. Way to complicated for me.

Took it to the VW drag races today in Orangeburg.

Other cars were allowed to race too, and Hubby wanted to take the R on the strip. I said nooo.

Lots of fun!

Yesterday my engine cover arrived at "FUZZY"s shop for custom paint job,
and tomorrow I will pick up the Motive 430 rear gears to move the SSR off the line a little easier & faster!

I drove mine to work today. Still at work for a bit then gas, pick up the dog from grooming and home. I have to drive mine every day for a while- I have a pending sale on my 2005 Colorado and don't want anything to happen to it until I have $ in hand. Then it's time to go truck shopping for another Colorado or Canyon.

For are 10th Anniversary I took #733 for a short drive a tank full of fresh gas at $2.65.9 per gal. That's almost the price I paid 10 years ago when I filled the R up for the first time. Yes I pick up my SSR 10 years ago today in Las Vegas with 6 miles on her, she now has 61755. Finished up the day by given a wash job and back under her cover in the garage. We had a good Anniversary!!

Unusual Turkey Day

My gathering was cancelled today as my friends father went to the hospital.... he's fine now though. That left me alone with the huge ham I'd made (Black Forest with a Coca Cola glaze) and all kinds of excuses to ride around with the top down (sunny, but cool). So, I installed the engine insert, the steering wheel logo, and some LS2 flags to help the Mustangs know better. Here's the link if you'd like to check them out; https://www.ssrfanatic.com/forum/f99/...9/#post1390057

Just a couple of pics to make the snowy country folks feel all warm a fuzzy about the next season.
