9 Things You Should Always Have in Your Car

Quote:
Today's new cars are better equipped than ever, with convenience, connectivity, and safety features that keep drivers safe on the road. Nonetheless, smart drivers know to hit the road prepared, regardless of how long the journey.

Consider picking these nine items up and stashing them in your glove box or trunk. They'll help you keep calm and carry on, no matter the situation.

They forgot one of the most important

a fresh battery for your remote control alarm system.
Mine would not unlock the SSR when it's battery died.

I never did find a by pass just installed fresh battery

They forgot cell phone, credit card and towing insurance because most likely if it quits it is going to a shop. Not much chance of fixing it on the side of the road now-a-days. Ha! Ha!

Lately down here in Florida I always have my 14 shot 9MM along for the ride. No, I don't see a carjacking in my future.

Cool Bad remote battery

I seem to learn something new each week by reading the forum. So if the remote battery goes bad and if I use my key to unlock the door the ALARM will go off and there is no way to shut it off. Is this correct? If so guess it would be a good idea to change the battery every year or so. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I drive mine in the rain and just love the way the water runs right off.

Oh no. You can't turn off the alarm by turning the key in the ignition?
