Can i use a red top optima 34 agm 1000ca battery in my 2003 ssr?

My SSR:
05 Slingshot Yellow,Built 1-24-05,VIN120035,INDY500 Track/Festival/Parade Truck #32 of 74
Red and Yellows are not what they used to be. Very expensive and lots of problems. They are made by a new company. Interstate is better and some are having good luck with the Chevy Ac Delco. Also need a Battery Tender Plus to keep it fully charged when not driving. Good luck.

My truck was built in August of '05 so the AC Delco battery was obviously at least that old.
In 2010 I installed the Simple Engineering spare tire kit which relocates the battery, so I figured after 5 years I should replace the battery while I was at it.
I gave the 5 year old AC Delco to the guy who helped me with the installation.
He's still using it.
