those pins/punch downs that grab the wire look just like BIX connectors used in telephone work we had a special hollow tool to push the wire into the slots

Probably after they did 1,000 boxes they saved a inch of copper wire.

@DjElPaiza , Laying in bed last night I thought about--- Thermostat wire is solid but don't know the gauge, also Garage door sensor/eye wire is solid. Both at Home Depot and Lowes

EDIT---Garage door sensor/eye wire I have is .025 !!! If you want to wait on Uncle Sam I can mail you some.

Any high end electrical shop where electricians get their stuff should have any size you want. Not a hardware store but an actual electrical supply place. Check your phone book or Google it.

If you had sent it to me, it would be fixed and you would have it back by now.

Yes, I re-route the wire, take out bends.

Trailblazer box, go to junk yard and get some wire.

I can send you 8" piece.

Dicktator

1. Broken wire
2. NEW wire, NO bends

If and when you get it fixed make sure you tell everyone what you did so they may be able to learn from it if they have the same problems. Lots of guys tell us their problems but never check back with the info when fixed. I often wonder if they ever did get it fixed. Keep on truckin!

There is another layer to fuse box.

Dicktator

1. Fuse box apart
2. Broken wire, quadrant 3
3. Fuse box apart and repaired with NEW wire.
4. Two halves of fuse box. Tin 12volt strip connectors.
