Transmission Shift Cable Adjustment

From Pocket Rocket:

Transmission Shift Cable Adjustment
Here is how to perform a "Shift Cable" adjustment, to access 1st Gear.

You must get underneath the vehicle. Please use proper jacks and supports to brace vehicle, and block rear tires.

Step 1)
On the shift cable - Carefully, and I do mean careful and do not break tabs on grey prong!

SLIGHTLY PULL OUT the "Grey tab" (has 4 prongs) until it stops (DO NOT REMOVE the Grey Prong Tab from cable assembly). (Small angled flat head screw driver is ideal for this task).

Step 2)
Manually move the "Shifter Arm" (on the transmission) ALL the way forward (until it stops) towards the "FRONT" of the truck.

Step 3)
PUSH in the "Grey" Prong back into its housing in the shift cable assembly, carefully until it stops.

Step 4)
Check dash display, by going through the gears, and you should end up in 1st!
