Thanks. That would only be a problem if I carried weight..right? These only interest me as on a trip I would only need to carry a spare for front.

The years teach much which the days never knew.

This is one of those just because you can doesn't mean you should situations. Manufactures select the tire that they recommend as a proper load rating based on their engineers load calculations. An under loaded tire will wear our quicker and will have an increased chance of blowout. We don't recommend putting under loaded tires on your vehicle with or without any extra weight.

Thanks for the Post.

Here at Discount Tire Direct, we can mail order the tires right to your front door. We currently do not have either size in stock but I contacted Yokohama and both sizes are available. If you want to make your purchase from your local store you'll need to contact them directly for price and availability. If you want us to place a special order for you, give us a call at 1.888.459.4080.

I'm very pleased with them.
I assume these will fit our O.E.M. wheels?

You guys ever thought about stocking the store in Kerrville Texas for the Rally in June of 09? You may have addressed this an I missed it or maybe you don't have a store there.
I have had good luck on the Goodyears and would like to stay with them and we are getting very close to replacement time.

We do have a store in Kerrville. You should contact that location and see what they have available. Here at Discount Tire Direct (mail order) we do not have access to their inventory or order sheets.

Here's their contact info...

So I clicked on your link from this site the other day and saw the feature where you can look at wheels on your vehicle.

I thought, how cool is that, it will help me decide if/what wheels would look best on my SSR and I can contact my local discount for pricing.

After inputting the SSR information, discount website says nothing is available for our trucks...

Very disappointing

The SSR is very unique in fitment. Not many wheel manufactures produce the 6-127 bolt pattern with the correct offsets to work on your application. If there is a wheel that you know will work for your application, PM us with the information and we will see if we can special order it in for you. We can also have custom wheels built for you. The most popular are billet wheels.

Thanks, but my point was that I wanted to see the wheels on my SSR (virtually speaking) first by using your nifty little animated wheel fashion tool.

I have no idea what wheel I would want on my SSR until I see it...
Hope this clears it up.

I understand and I wish we had some options for you to see. If you do find a wheel you like send us a link with the picture and maybe we can have it photoshopped on your vehicle for you.

Try this site: Les Schwab Tire Centers - Virtual Wheels Online

It has a virtual SSR you may be looking for OP, at least a few different wheels anyway.

I don't know what ya'll think of the Continental CrossContact UHPs. America's Tire/Discount Tire matched the TireRack price of $120 each for the back, 295/45/20. Ratings are pretty good, just something else to consider.

Tires available

I just purchased a pair of front tires for my 2003 SSR from the Tire Rack they are the original Goodyears, 255-45-19 except they are a "V" rating instead of an "H" rating. The "H" rating tires were $220 each and the "V" rating were on sale for $94 each. I've got 38K miles on my truck, this is the third set of tires and both the first two front sets wore out on the insides even after having the truck aligned multiple times.
