Unhappy Wow

Never personally met Eric so I can't comment on his personal relationship with God. I am a Born Again Believer (John 3:3) and I will send prayers to God for Melissa and family.

I got more than I expected from Eric and deeply saddened he is gone.

It started with a short conversation about ordering parts and grew from there. We spoke off and on, texted and talked about parts, cars, designs and family.

It was clear to me that Eric cared.

We missed our last phone call a couple weeks ago. I’m glad he’s in a better place now and feeling good. I look forward to when we talk again.

My thoughts and prayers are with Melissa and his family.

As everyone has heart-felt stated, sadness for our SSR Family, but especially for Melissa & her family. An unexpected shock! Only God can ease the pain of your loss. Life changes so quickly. My prayer is for our Spiritual Hearts to be ready to meet Jesus and enter into the Paradise He has prepared for all who trust Him as Savior & Lord. I hope Eric is TRKN with Jesus! Bill

My heart was broken by the news of Eric's' passing and the loss that his family and friends are feeling. I'm glad Lynn and I got to spend some time with him and Melissa and I got to share our common love of things automotive with him from time to time by phone or email. He will be sorely missed not only for his talent and dedication to making good things even better but his good nature and his willingness to help when needed. Be at peace my friend, your suffering over, I hope we can meet again in the next life. Our prayers and sincere condolences to his family.

I don't recall meeting Eric, although I was at Savannah, Maggie Valley and the Texas International. Rest In Peace Eric, your worldly troubles are now over.

Melissa, my heart goes out to you. A loss like this is devastating.

One reason this is so disturbing is that we've come to believe that if you're under medical care, they can fix it. Unfortunately, as many of us have now started to experience, our friends and family are only here by the grace of God (including us!). I would suggest that you, right now, go over and tell that person that cares about you, that you care about them because you never know when it's too late. Let's live more in the moment.

Wow! I just learned of this today. I was very shocked and saddened.

I wrecked my SSR last year and I took that opportunity to get Eric to make me one of his absolutely gorgeous ram air hoods. Since my SSR is driven daily and my only transportation, Eric went way out his way to accommodate my needs by greatly expediting the manufacture of my hood. I was so appreciative of his efforts. My custom hood will always serve as a reminder to me of him and what an outstanding craftsman that he surely was.

Eric will truly be missed by many. My condolences to Melissa, their kids, and the rest of the families.

R.I.P., Eric.
