Mark this day down in SSR history - we finally have a set of bolt-in Lambo hinges with plenty of access for getting in and out, ease of opening and closing from inside the SSR, and hood and doors can be open at the same time so you can show your stuff!

Looks great Lonnie, but having to permanently remove the headlights is probably a "no go" for me

Ready for takeoff!

The first set of Lambo hinges has been installed and delivered to a very happy customer! It took a lot of engineering, and re-engineering, but we finally have a design that is bolt-in, easy to open and close from inside and outside the cabin, has plenty of room to get in and out of the SSR, and can be opened at the same time as the hood for maximum car show bad-assery .

You will have to make a cut on the inner fender and a notch where fender attaches to body, but no welding or major surgery required.

Personally, I've never had the desire for them but that's just me and I think there definitely should be some demand for Lambo doors in the SSR community.

What an astounding feat of engineering...In this day and age anything is possible with the right goal in mind. I've made many modifications to my R so would really consider one more, and one more, and one more.....
Please advise as to price and availability....PM.....

There are some cuts on the inner fender to allow for the hinge articulation, and some mods to the inner fender to accommodate the strut mount. If you send me your e-mail I can you more info.

Lonnie, can we get the height measurement from floor to the top of the door in the open position? Just want to make sure I have clearance to open in the garage and carport. Thanks for your time.....

I'm waiting on that measurement from the customer, but I would estimate between 7 and 7 1/2 feet based on this pic. I am 5'11". Will get you exact measurement as soon as I hear back.
