That really looks good. Plz keep in mind that in many states its against the law to drive with red lights, so short of that, go crazy!

Yes we will be there. We are not at host hotel due to pet restrictions but please feel free to hunt me down as we will be hanging out in the parking lot somewhere on one of the gatherings. When you see my installation just note that I had to make new emblem tabs because they were all busted off so the emblem sits a slight bit out from hood, this is not normal. If you have the OEM tabs intact it will sit normally, I work around them so there is no change, no issues with them at all. Fixing my tabs is on my list of things to do.......someday.

Yellow paint with amber lighting I just finished up this weekend .......................

Sam, Mike made one of these for me last year along with a remote for it. I love the unique looks of it. I can show it to you at our next Permagrin Breakfast on 12//09.

Mike makes first quality items at more-than-fair prices. You can't go wrong with anything he makes. ---

Mike did mine and based on the date of the Yellow emblem picture I would say that one is mine. I couldn't be happier with the quality and look of it. I hate to say how fantastic it is since everyone will be standing in line for one.

Mike is a GREAT FANATIC and very easy to work with.

Could this be done to a chrome emblem and then have the emblem re-chromed afterward?

Hmmmm, not sure about the chrome process requirements are. I have thought about trying a chrome one and sealing the areas where the letters are cut to eliminate the moisture from getting between the metalizing and plastic. I guess you would have to talk to a chrome person. If they can do it, I would have to cut the letters, send it out for chrome, then install the electronics afterward.
