Stainless steel Throttle body, Air Tube and Alternator covers along with Inner fenders would look great with your engine covers. Plain polished Inner Fenders are only $399 including the fuse box cover and the 3 cap covers for oil, water and wipers.

Engine Compartment - 2004 Redline

I wanted to add mine to the list of engine compartment modifications. Again, thanks to Dragon2U (Mike) for cutting some of the one off pieces. I will mentionn that I moved the evap piece that sits on the top (2003-2004) of the manifold for a cleaner look. Plus I have some LED's and other lighting which I think looks good at night but doesn't show up much in daylight.

I had Hamrz Customs of Warner Robins, Ga. install HydroGraphics to my engine compartment. Came out beautiful. He even took the alternator apart and did it. Great job, Bruce!

I bought my silver SSR from Dragon2U

He did an awesome Job with the Engine Bay. Years have passed and the Engine Cover paint is blistering and pealing

Even though I'm mechanically inclined, I'm completely impaired when it comes to painting

Anyone knows who can repaint this engine cover for me? It has a Silver, Purplelish, Metalic color that changes hue depending on view and light angle. I would settle to have it painted Ricochet Silver if it can't be matched.

My 04 bling

Before finding the forum and not knowing there were "After Market" custom parts available I used some common auto chrome trim and other things I found at Hobby Lobby to dress out my motor. Did purchase the Fluid caps and stainless steel cap for the shroud cover off ebay. Used aluminum A/C tape for the intake bars also used chrome electrical wire wrap for the A/C and other lines. Original I had hand painted the recessed SSR on the hood insulator ( Thanks to Doc. I have replaced with his.
Also trimmed the air intake housing with chrome door trim I also added chrome trim to the inside edges of the fenders under the hood.

Hey OctagonMan,
The engine parts were done with Mirage color shift paint by Duplicolor. I just tried to see if they still have that color but sadly they do not, all they have is red/blue not the silver/blue called Ice. The part number was MP404. To get something else to match it would be impossible, only way to do just the engine cover would be to find someone with some old cans of it sitting around. I have looked at a few places and cannot find any more.

If you wanted to do the entire engine area in a similar paint, Alsa has a Mystic paint line that is close, the color is called "burning ice". You can see it here - Mystic - The World's Most Affordable Color Shifting paint

If all you want is the stock silver there should be a ton of places nearby that could repaint it for you, Miami has quite a few custom shops. Shipping here would cost a bit.

Add your location on Fanatic PINMAP and locate others

Thank You Dragon

& I appreciate your insight!

I think I can work with Mystic Pearl Tropical. The other parts you painted like the airbox, are separated enough from the Engine Cover, that it will work. Otherwise I'll just Color Match it with the R's Silver.

I do have a good Shop in Miami that can do the Work. I'll print for them some of the recommendations Fuzzy makes on the Techniques to be used, and discus it with them

Best Regards from me and

These are custom paint on stock engine covers. Find a good shop in your area and give them an idea. Hot Rods & Custom Stuff comes to mind. They are in your area and have a good knowledge of SSRs.
