Exhaust Cut Outs!!!

Hello all, I am in need of a little advise!!
I have a 2005 SSR 6 speed Ricochet Silver all factory drive train.
I just sent my Throttle Body / ECM to Faster Proms. Seems that most agree Jeremy is the best for the SSR tune.
With that said which exhaust cut outs may be best to use and placement if possible. I would not like to add headers, but would like the option to make a little rumble.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Quick Time Performance makes a great kit. It has a wireless remote control that makes installation simple. I used to sell them, but quit when I discovered there was no margin and competition had set the price pretty low......

When I was researching electronic exhaust cut-outs for my 06 with stainless works headers and true duel exhaust I found many positives and negatives for many different Brands (what to believe or not believe) very confusing. I wanted to do the correct install without parts failure. At about the same time I was watching Bitchin Rides on Velocity (Kendigit Designs). They had installed cut-outs on a 67 Impala SS for a customer and WOW was the sound ever sweet. Knowing what ever brand used would be the best. So I contacted them for what they used? There own brand. Kevin was really helpful, took his time and answerd all my questions. He suggested low profile for the best fit (not much room under there). I am extremely pleased with quality and performance. 1 year and nary a problem. Cost at the time $400 with rocker switch, (with remote $575) shipping included. My installer charged $140 and did a fabulous job. I opted for the rocker switch under the dash. Opening or Closing time is 3-4 seconds (mild to wild).
Kendigit Design 801-262-3098. Hopes this helps..

I had the QTP exhaust cutout installed on my 05. I really like the sound and the ease switching back and forth.

Didn't know you had cutouts.
You'll have to show 'em off sometime.

I bought the QTP Stainless Steel unit from AMAZON for $225.00 and got the wireless remote for another $81.
My muffler guy installed it for $135
Works really well and just dumps straight down from the unit.

I wanted one for my other SSR but wanted to try a cheaper unit.
Bought the Stainless Steel unit from ebay (CHINA) $125.00 and includes the wireless remote...Same install price $135.
It also works well BUT with this one I have to spray penetrating oil in it almost every month and crawl under the car to get it to move.

It also would continually cycle its-self without any input. I rewired it so it only gets power when the car is running. Still occasionally will Open or Close by its-self.
If I had to do it again, I would stay with the QTP !

I only paid $112 for mine and it included the remote. I had it installed for $100 but that did not include having it hard wired into fuse box.

I installed NoWeeds on mine. It has a closed, half open and closed. They have some excellent videos up. They are out of South Dakota.

I recommend them for sure.

Wow. That is quite a difference in price.

What brand is that? Is it a domestic or foreign maker?

Thanks,

I am not sure on the 04. The valve itself is oval but my cutout is for a cat back system. I saw a exhaust cutout system online that looks identical to the one I used on EBay for $82.00. I did a search for 3" exhaust cat back cutout system.
