Bernie who was from Lake Havasu hasn't done them for several years. Floyd Bailey in Tennessee did them for some time, but unfortunately Floyd passed away a couple years ago.

I haven't heard of anyone else doing them, but you could check with Mike in Az to see if they are on his radar for a future project.

Nerf bars are on the list for spring. I have a “borrowed” set at the fab shop for cloning. They are some of the last ones that Floyd made.

When I get them done, I will definitely be making a splash on the forum

Mike

I’m going to start working with the fab shop on this next week, when I am back in Phoenix.

Anyone have a picture. When I think of nerf bars I think of 4wd raised pickups.

Nerf bars from the old school days are metal plates that stick out front or back with curved round rod up and down. They are chrome and made for cars with out bumpers. Popular in the 60's and 70's.

I put nerf bars on my 2004 SSR many years ago. I had always liked them.
