05 redline auto 23k
Garage
New exhaust tips

Was at the Iowa 80 Truck stop and saw these 8" pipes. With a little modifications I believe it will work.

My SSR:
04 Silver/Race Stripes 4:10 gears tuned at 130mph lowered 2"
Side Pipes? Jeffanatic did that with Tractor Trailer Exhaust.

But what is the matter with Solid Stainless Steel 5inch tips from Mike aka https://shop.simple-engineering.com/...c?categoryId=7

I have had them on mine for years!

04 Slingshot Yellow, "PowerGlide" Alloy Rims (yuk) Runnin' Boards, Gauge Package
Robert, they are referred to as "Sewer Pipe Exhausts" First heard them called that at the Route 66 Festival several years ago by Dave Jostes, one of Jan's "old flames" back in the 60's ... he did have a really nice dark green 56 Two Ten 2 door sedan Chevy he always wanted her to run at the local Drag Strip !!!

My SSR:
2004 in Black and now 2005 in Black, what a pair
Picture #2 makes me think of import car Fart Can mufflers. You know the 1 1/2 exhaust pipe going into a coffee can sized outlet.
