    Hi There,
Mind if I ask what if anything is wrong with the shocks, and why don't you use them, or why don't you like them, and how much better then the stock shocks are they. Will they make the ride harder or what? lot of questions huh?

Hi Ken, well just a quick question. When placing the lifters in the plastic tray which way are the lifter oiling holes suppose to face? Just a guess they should face the lifter they are in the tray next to in the same cylinder. I've watched a dozen ytube videos and nothing is ever said about the side oiling hole. The original lifters the hole faced the center of the engine (valley pan) then the chevy lifters I put in three years ago are like the new comp cam lifters on the side. I pulled off the passenger side head and found a lifter in the # 6 cylinder that was fubared and killed the cam lobe. I had to pull the cam and fish a magnet and lowered the fubared lifter out through the cam gallery. good thing I'm retired now looking at a week to get the heads back so I can started putting this mess back together. Thanks Jim

    Hello Topspin,
First I wanted to thank you for guiding me with recommendations of parts I'll need to beef up my truck. Like you said it'll be a beast when done but I'm thinking nothing like if I had a supercharger in it. Personally for me, I think that will be a little overkill. I just want something that is going to get up and go when I want it to, not strip the paint off.

I did want to ask one thing though and that is I'd like to enter my truck into some car shows which I've never done but I wouldn't know what to classify it as. The classifications listed didn't really match from what I could see.

    Thanks in advance,

    Don

Hey Topspin (Ken) Happy New Year. Got a question for you? I think I'm finally ready to break loose the cash for edelbrocks 7139 tunnel ram. I'm going to keep my TB for ease of installation but I'll have to buy their adaptor plate and I assume new fuel rails for the intake. My fear is redoing any electricals that I might have to do and making the current GM fuel lines match up to new rails. Any words of wisdom? Also after the install I plan on driving 4 hrs on interstate to OKC for new tune and dyno pull...see any problem with that as long as I stay out of it? Thx, Lee. by the way prior to this installation I'm hitting 349 hp to the rear wheels NA, 442 with nitro.,but NEVER use nitro (show only)

    Topspin,
I am Peter...a owner of an SSR 2005. I have changed a few things on the 6.0 engine. Maybe you could help me out...
On the engine we've installd LS6 stage 3 heads 1.85 rollnockers with a compcam mild preformance. I also have an LSXFast truck intakemanifold with thorttlebody 102mm.

I went to a guy who was able to put the HP-tuning for me in the ECU but we still having problems. Do you also use HP-tuning on your SSR?
If you could help me getting files for the right tuning with this mods on the engine. we now run on 532horsepower. The only problem is that the engine keeps on hesitating and with low throttle shuts the engine off.
Hope you can help me...(my email adress: [email protected])
