    13. update on the roof operation. There is trick to really speed up the roof opening process. first open the windows before engaging the roof button. Then hit and hold the roof button, if the traffic starts moving, you still can continue to open the roof even if you take the foot of the brake!

    10. the time the roof takes to go up and down is unfortunately longer than traffic lights, I am spoiled coming from 13 second roof convertible that I could operate at the lights and while driving up to 35mph; roof operation is taking some time to get used to
    11. I no longer mind stopping at the stop signs and traffic lights, knowing that the sweet acceleration that is coming next :)

    12. have to be careful on the highway, it is too easy to exceed the speed limit and not in the conventional sort of way, I found myself driving 70mph going with the traffic, it is Chicago after all, then a slower car is in the lane, so I go to pass it, push the accelerator ever so slightly, get in the left lane and notice that I am already going 90mph. the acceleration at these speeds is effortless and seamless, the power of LS2 is delivered in such a straight power curve that gaining 20mph takes the same 1.7 seconds from the standstill or from 70mph.

    6. I have not pushed the peddle to the metal yet, getting comfortable with the truck. but it is surprising how fast the engine revs up to 6k and keeps delivering power throughout the range.
    7. Another pleasant surprise is how little roll SSR has in the turns, you can feel the heft and I would expect a lot of body roll, but SSR stays reasonably flat in the turns. It is a satisfying feeling to move this much mass through the turns.
    8. the lower lip added to the front bumper does provide for a better look and a working about low parking guards.
    9. I only had 3 people come over and ask about truck, none of them knew what it was, presumed it was a restored old truck, none of them believed me that it came with LS2 from the factory.

    April 1st 2019, no joke, I got my dream car/truck/ride :0
Here are my first impressions for everyone and myself to remember:
    1. It is surprising how well the side mirrors work, there are no blind spots for a big truck like that and the view is complete and clear. it must be shape of the car body.
    2. the exhaust sound is intoxicating, i find myself keeping the engine in around 1800 rpm to get the maximum gurgle when accelerating.
    3. when commuting for an hour in traffic, the fuel economy is better than expected at 16.5 mpg
    4. the raw power delivered to the wheels is simply intoxicating, yet the ride is luxuriously plush and not as jarring as in camaro or as hard is in a vette.
    5. SSR makes for a sublime cruiser, excels at providing for very smooth ride at around 35 mph, on the highway it is an easy drive, yet a lot of wind noise enters the cabin,
