I had not read much on the 05's until seeing a story in our paper last night. It quoted several things right out of this Form. Any way it said the 05's were MPG rated at 14 MPG city. Is that right? Also do you have to burn premium in them? It also said no traction control for the 6 speed. I did not know that. :cool :cool

Yes Subman,

That is correct! However, I don't know if the MPG is really rated that low on the 05s. The 03s and 04s are rated at 16 MPG in the city and also just use 87 octane regular unleaded gas.

Looks like 87 octane (or higher) is "required"
From my 2005 Owner's Manual:

Gasoline Octane
Use premium unleaded gasoline with a posted octane
of 91 or higher for best performance. You may also
use middle grade or regular unleaded gasoline rated at
87 octane or higher, but your vehicle’s acceleration
may be slightly reduced. If the octane is less than 87,
you may get a heavy knocking noise when you drive.
If this occurs, use a gasoline rated at 87 octane or
higher as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might
damage your engine.
