This is the way it was meant to be!!
So much better than the 04 we had. No bass rattles in the doors (and I cranked it a couple of times to check it) and the rear speakers actually have sound coming from them!!! I can tell it when the speed dependent automagic volume adjustment kicks in. Mucho bettero.
I'm still going to reinstall the sub I took out of our 04 but it's not a rush job this time.
