Does any one know the GM number on the 2003 transmission.
I think the 05 is a 4L65-E but would like to know the type and torque rating of the 2003 / 2004.
Any in put would be appreciated.

For 2004 The Service Manual list a 4L60-E which could have been made in Toledo, Romulus or Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. This is the same tranny that has been used in the Corvettes for many years. No rating on torque or hp. :flag

Great site, the 4L60E (M30) is rated at 360 lb-ft Corvette Engine Torque and the 4L65E (M32) is rated at 380 lb-ft Engine Torque. The gear box torque is 610 lb-ft for the M30 and 670 lb-ft for the M32.
