Can anyone tell me if the known SSr problems have been corrected in the 2005? :flag

Problems?

I've had my 05 since 12/29/04, so far the only problem I've had is with the guage cluster, it wasn't installed properly and there have times when the guages don't work, the back lighting works but the guages are dead. They return to function after several cycles of the key. I've had no other problems. Mike

2005 Smokin Asphalt

I have had my ssr since Oct of 2004 and have had zero problems. A couple of my wheel centers are a little loose but other than that, the only problem I have is folks staring at it too much!

Almost Zero defects

We have had three of the 03/04 SSr's in our family and driven a total of about 20k miles. Our newest was purchased in January, trucked to Florida and driven about 4k so far. :angel

From our view, the SSr is about as close to "zero defects" as anything from Detroit gets.... perfect paint, wonderful fit/finish et cetera (thankyou folks at the Craft Center). Could it be improved.... of course, what cannot be.... for what it is, this is not only a scream it is a DREAM..... and at current pricing ($30-32k) it is the next best thing to a gift you will find in the current automotive market!
