I also saw it at Victorville motors last week. Two people were eyeing it! I couldn't hear the conversation but the people looked a little confused. I hope someone bought it! I hope that they drive it around up here and stop and say hello.

Well, it was not there this morning. Another vehicle was in its place on the corner of the lot...wonder if the owner traded it in on a new Dodge Charger.

No I did not buy it, I ws trying to find out about on-line but had no luck now I guess I know why.

too bad you didn't have a chance to get this one, assuming it is gone, since VV motors' used car lot is fairly new, they may not be posting "previously owned" vehicles on their site.

BTW - when I was at Rancho motors today they still had at least one '04 redline...don't know the $$ but they did OK with me when I purchased mine in march

As you know you can go to the chevrolet site and see what each dealer has in stock along with posted price. With the current offers this is the month to get one.

I had to rescue my sister and Mom at Victorville Hundai Monday evening and saw a yellow slingshot sitting in the dirt, top open, baking in the 115 degree sun :mad Couldn't stop because of time schedule, but It wasn't there on Tuesday when I took them back to the dealer to pick up their car. I hope a future Fanatic bought it.

Thanks Joe for proving to Eric (ECurtis) that I am NOT the only one who sees :ssr s all around the Victorville area. Am trying to remember where the Hundai dealer is up here...maybe it belonged to one of the employees? I have seen a few Slingshots including the one who possibly lives around the corner from me...will catch them yet!

Hope your mom and sis didn't have to endure the heat for too long and Hundai of Victorville were kind to them.

Mom and Sis were treated very well at Victorville Suzuki, Hundai. Can’t say the same for the Las Vegas Dealership. Seems that Hundai’s had a recall notice posted about fuel pump problems when the temp goes over 100. They broke down on the way to Las Vegas and had to be towed. The dealer in Vegas asked them if they had known about the recall, but did nothing about fixing the problem They found nothing wrong after keeping the car 4 days. They broke down again in Hisperia and were towed back to Victorville. One day and one new fuel pump later and they were on their way back to Thousand Oaks. (Where it never gets over 100!) My only regret was driving my Black Buick out there. Victorville in July is no place for a Black car!
