red tag includes the rebate but i wouldnt pay within $2000 of the red tag i recommend red tag less $2k or more

Kool Chevrolet in Grand Rapids, Michiigan advertised a new 05 for $33,6xx in classifieds today...less if u or relative is a gm employee... very tempting

$33K???...How can they sell it for that? Is there some sort of GM to Dealer cash involved as well? The invioce on the SSr is about 4K under sticker (or so they say) if you add that to the 5K GM rebate 33K is still a few grand short? There must be money somewhere they are not telling us about. A $45K SSr should be retailing for about $36K IMO.

Double checked the ad for fine print...didn't see any that applied... Red tag price= $33,615 ...claim it is discounted over $14,900. A demo maybe??

Stanford has been advertising one at $33999.70 which is almost $13K under sticker. Somehow, the market does not seem to care about the plant closing and production stopping, or if it does, it is viewed negatively.

richoshet your not too far off you said 45k list shoudl sell 36 k . ..well the $50,500 list is selling at 39k 5 k cheaper puts you at the 33-34k

Talked to my salesmen here in Michigan and said the price for an 05 SSR with a MSRP of $45,700 would be around $38,300 + tax. That includes the $5,000 rebate.
Sounds like your guy is on track with mine!

This was at Burger in Grand Rapids. I know there are some deals to be made out there. I had some free time today so I was just curious what kind of quote I would get from my salesmen on line. Don't forget to look at the MSRP!
If you are a GM employee you can get another $2500.00 off, he said.
