$33K???...How can they sell it for that? Is there some sort of GM to Dealer cash involved as well? The invioce on the SSr is about 4K under sticker (or so they say) if you add that to the 5K GM rebate 33K is still a few grand short? There must be money somewhere they are not telling us about. A $45K SSr should be retailing for about $36K IMO.

Stanford has been advertising one at $33999.70 which is almost $13K under sticker. Somehow, the market does not seem to care about the plant closing and production stopping, or if it does, it is viewed negatively.

I just went and looked at a red one today. It was incredible and am really looking forward to buying one. Now only if i can sell a few of my other cars first. The sticker price on the one i was looking at was $45,165. The guy said he would give it to me for $38,404. I am pretty sure i can get him down to $35,000. If i can do that, i will definetly be walking out the door with one.

Talked to my salesmen here in Michigan and said the price for an 05 SSR with a MSRP of $45,700 would be around $38,300 + tax. That includes the $5,000 rebate.
Sounds like your guy is on track with mine!

$38K is HIGH !!!

Scott, Look near back page of the Sunday News/Freep. Stanford keeps advertising SSR's for almost $13K off and that is before going in and talking turkey with them.

This was at Burger in Grand Rapids. I know there are some deals to be made out there. I had some free time today so I was just curious what kind of quote I would get from my salesmen on line. Don't forget to look at the MSRP!
If you are a GM employee you can get another $2500.00 off, he said.
