I happened to be at the Chevy Dealership in Tully, N.Y. this afternoon when a brand new 2005 SSR was unloaded from the car carrier. I helped the owner spec the car out about 1 month ago, so when I said I wanted to drive it, he said " why not it's ordered the way you want it "? It's a 6 speed with all the bells + whistles and let me tell you it flies !!!!!! I have an '04 # 3733 which I really like, but this '05 is very tempting !!!

Yep, know the feeling! There is a black one sitting at my local dealership that I specked out and was intending to trade for until the bottom fell out of the prices of the '04s. It came in about 6 weeks ago and is still sitting there waiting on someone!
