I watched the Lansing Plant Tribute "The Last SSR" video again recently to catch some details of the assembly line process. As we know, there was an SSR giveaway to one employee at the end of the plant's run, and an employee named Roger Chase won the contest. The contest drama included a combination drawing of employee names from a drum, three finalists drawing numbered balls from a bag, and the winner turning the key on one of three SSRs that started up. It was announced that Mr. Chase was retiring that same day that the Lansing plant closed. Does anyone have any idea what ever happened to him and his SSR? Just wondering if he still owned what was likely one of the last Pacific Blue SSRs built.
