Just checked out the (limited) information on the '06 models at the chevy website.

Anyone know what that small medallion is on the lower section of the front fenders, just behind the wheel?

Interestingly, in the group shot, the clickable caption erroneously refers to Redline Red as "Redfire Red." It's correctly labeled in the other shots of red SSRs, however.

The list of accessories may not be complete, but if it is, it looks like the hard sidesaddle bags may be gone.

Glad I got an '05, then! (I don't object to the GM medallion on its own merits, but I think the choice of location for placement on the '06 SSR leaves a lot to be desired...)

The new Impala's a huge improvement over the previous model, IMHO.
