Out for a drive in my 2003 Asphalt.
54 degrees is not my cup of tea but, I have to exercise the top and self and My 03 SSR. Life is good. And Nachos that are farm to table I’m told.
We shall see if that’s true next.

That is VERY cold for California! We have some sun out today so this may be the day to head out for a ride. But still in the 50's!!

Too cold for me to drive with the top down at high-speeds

:)

But we would not get that snow pack we need for the summer water without the cold weather in the winter.
That is why the SSR was built with a very good heater.

No. I will stay here. Although, I see the reason why left coast people are moving there.

I like the seasons. High next week is 20 F.. I think it has killed all the insects finally. I did not have to wash the bugs off my windshield last week.

Killing off the bugs/insects with those low temps is one "plus" for living farther north. Spent over 35 yrs in Nebr. and never had roach/palmetto bug problems in the house. Living in No. Carolina, they are a constant pest that gets inside no matter how clean you may think you have it.
Drives my wife crazy, we have to have the base boards and inside paremeter sprayed a couple of times a year. You get up and very likely to see one or two (upside down) but still alive. For some reason, they lick their feet and the spray somehow upsets their orientation and they flip over half dead..........but not quite.:(

When folks say that cold kills the bugs it reminds me of Minnesota, 30-40 below every winter and the mosquitoes and wood ticks are still everywhere when the snow melts. Think about it.

I felt safer on that ice at night than on dry roads on I-95 between Orlando and Miami in middle of the day. If I was zig zagging it was because it was slick, not trying to avoid some nut going 90 jumping lanes LOL
