The StabiliSSR is the best way to deal with the jiggling running lights on the SSR. I have relisted the product on EBAY, or go to the "Parts for Sale" section on this forum to order directly. Note that I am offering a 10% discount for SSR Fanatic supporting members.

Check out other comments on this forum. I think you will find that this product is a good upgrade for the SSR.

well, would have attached a pic of the new black bra my :ssr has on it but haven't downloaded them as yet...so it wasn't necessarially a "racy" comment as much as it was "tongue in cheek" following on the original post of the bra not being able to stop the jiggling (of the fog lights)...most of us are aware that this has been an issue with our :ssr s and the fore mentioned stabilizer is quite helpful in eliviating the problem :seeya

Bra install

Do you use the bra for long trips (or short trips with road debris), or all the time? I have a Honda Pilot that has taken a beating, and only put the bra on for long hauls. I used to leave a bra on another car and never had trouble, but others told me that if it wasn't snug it would rub the finish, cause uneven paint-fade, get water under it, etc. I plan on getting this accessory.

thanks in advance

Just on long trips. I could use it daily as I travel old Route 66 40 miles round trip and there are dump trucks, cement trucks, rock haulers, etc. every day...I have 4 pits in my windshield to prove it! Have seen the damage that a long-term bra does to vehicles...really damages the finish.

Oh well

So it sounds like I have to decide which evil I can live with. The SSR is a daily driver, not a garage queen. Does it install quickly, or do you need to do the leave-in-the-sun and stretch trick.

not hard to install at all. some :ssr owners have gone the "invisible bra" route but I surely can't install that and don't know anybody local that can. check search under that topic and you may get some info.

mine is a daily driver as well, doesn't even get to see the garage at night...just the driveway

there is also a lot of info on the purchase of bra on this site as well, I got one from Colgan Custom for the SSR: PR1314 as well as the mirror covers MC924

BTW...congrats on your new truck...happy :ssr :ssr ing

nice and firm, no jiggling

My fog lights are nice and firm now with no jigglin despite my invisible bra. texster68 was good enough to not only invite me to his house to purchase the StabiliSSRs but he also was generous enough to install them for me.

WOW what a difference it makes just by using, for lack of better terms, an underwire, er bracket...

Unless you like your foglights strobing down the road for all to see, then this product is a must. They were installed at dusk so the drive home was bouncy free as far as the fog lights were concerned.

There are other ideas and products he is working on so stay tuned everyone for even more ways to improve your SSRs.

Thanks again C.A.
