Supposedly it is a shade of green? Did anyone happen to notice the poll that I put up last week? Several colors were offered. Orange and Candy Apple Red were the winners by miles. Matter of fact the green offered was the ONLY color choice that received NO votes! What do you make of that? :jester

If this new color is the one I heard about last year it isn't really green, it is a lot of differnent colors in one, blue, purple, green and it changes from every angle. I have actully seen this on a truck and it was very pretty but I also heard it was very very expensive per ounce. I would love to see the new colors, chevy can be slow to put them on the web site, I actually saw a silver SSR on the road before I saw they had added the color to the line.

I agree!

I think something like the Orange Pearl that was offered on the Chrysler Prowler, Electric blue similar to that on the PT Cruiser or a Candy Apple Red would be excellent choices for new colors on the SSR.

Yesm, I think it is in the neighborhood of $350 per quart! Now, this is the PPG color change paint. And from what I have been told all the new SSRs are painted with PPG Global paint.

Sometimes, all too often, the General and the introspective marketing types there are really not in touch with the market.... they probably got a deal on some special paint and someone thought it would work on the SSr...... :yawn .... :rant

Machell - Chevy actually had the silver on the website very early on and then it disappeared. I thought it had been pulled and got my black one. Then I saw a silver on the lot a few weeks later - checked the website and it had been added back.. Have no idea why.
