coming home from a car show the abs light and the brake liht came on at the same time stayed on all the way home no brake problem when at home shut the truck off and restarted lights went out any ideas
Two most likely things are either the brake module solder issue or it could be a wheel sensor.
The brake module has been known to have problems from the heat off the catalytic converter causing problems with the soldered joints in the brake module that is mounted close to the exhaust. Easy fix remove the module and send it to one of the people who repair them. Dragon2U and Dicktator do repairs. There is how in the library section.
Wheel sensors if they get rust will cause the light to come on. The front bearings have the sensors as part of the assembly but you maybe able to get the sensor by itself.
Did you drive it or just start it?
Ptoblem may be intermittent or depending on problem the ABS module doesn't recognize it until its moving. Weak speed sensor for example.
You should check codes before going too far with any diagnosis.

One of the first things I noticed about my R is the headlights are dismal at best. The bulbs that were in it when I got it were the typical H11 Halogen bulbs that come stock. They gave off a yellowish light but did little in lighting the way. So I had a few H11 LED bulbs in my garage that I had...
I purchase a set of this qhat I thought were replacement driving lights. They are F16-H11. I purchased them from Amazon and have received them. The Amazon description now says they are fog lights? Did I purchase the wrong bulb? Before I install them any comments would be appreciated.
My 06 SSR with 22k is getting ready for a new set of tyres.
My "go to" shop is recommending Conti Extreme Contact DWS06 front and rear.
With so many brands to chose from I'm seeking advice.
