AC problem with new 05?

With the recirculation on ,the AC still lets in outside air every 30 seconds. Is this normal?

I've noticed that my air seems to warm up slightly for a short time when it's in recirc. It seems to happen when I back off the gas coming down a hill or slowing down. I haven't noticed if it is blowing more air from outside.
I plan on taking it into the dealer for a couple of little fixes. I'll let you know what the results are.
