When I use the turn signal switch and move the steering wheel, I can hear a plastic rubbing noise.

I documented how I accessed the turn signal switch in my SSR to figure out if the noise I was hearing could be solved with some lubrication of the plastic pieces involved or if I needed a new turn signal switch.

The same info can be used to gain access to the SSR ignition switch.

I've driven the SSR in some 100+ degree days over the past couple of weeks. The SSR sat out in the hot direct sunlight, so I know the steering column was nice and "hot".

I no longer hear the plastic rubbing noise from the turn signal switch.

I'm calling this repair successful!
