Thanks, Dicktator.........I just might follow up on that option. Not my favorite pedal replacement "look/feel", but perhaps a better option than just the stock setup.:|

Very Nice, but where do those pedal pads come from? I see the manufacturer but no model # or ordering info. Maybe I am having a senior moment and missed that!!
Need to add that to the Slides.
Update: OK I found them heres the link!

I'm wondering why not clamp the aluminum covers in place and drill through rather than the tape-mark-drill routine?
Seems drilling the marked tape risks the drill wandering off center.
Just a small error will make putting the screws through a nightmare.

Don't forget, I just found out '03 & '04 Foot rest is different than '05 & '06 Foot rest!! Look at my thread "Factory Accessory Pedal Covers"

Clamped them on with tape behind and aligned pedals with each other. Marked holes
Used center punch
Drilled smaller pilot hole
Then enlarged hole to correct size
There is not a lot of metal to play with and you dont want to miss and go out the edge
But as my dad told me there is more than one way to do anything.
Love the pedals
