I learned two things today I did not know.

1. You cannot open the tonneau cover in any gear but PARK.
2. A cruise control indicator exists in the extreem upper left portion of the dash. You have to look outside the steering wheel to see it. (When its on, of course)

Love these surprises.

Let me clear up my terminology

When I started this thread I said tonneau instead of bed cover. That mislead freezer in his explanation of what my point was about. His explanation was correct, but at the time I didn't think so.
When I arrived home tonight, I tried to open the bed cover in all gears, but it only would open in PARK. Also when in any gear except PARK, the DIC displays "PLACE VEHICLE IN PARK" Moral of the story...say what you mean, and leave the french words to the frogs.

OK, we got that one explained. Try this one.

I don't like the glare supression that comes on in the rear view mirrors when you start the car. It just bothers me to have everything green in the rear view mirror. So...I've gotten in the habit of pushing the button on the rear view mirror to go to normal mode.

What's interesting is that you can't change the mirror mode when the transmission is in reverse and when you shift to drive, you have to be going 10MPH or so before you can turn the glare suppression off. I guess it's a safety issue to change the mirror while backing up?????

Chris, the color you are seeing is from all of the envious stares of people around your ride!
I've got one...

With SSR running, top up or down and trans in "D" positon, and traction control off...i can boil the tires off and watch the fuel gauge go down to E pretty quick :lol

And as I learned long ago .... "E" don't mean "enough".
