I am surprised to see that the passenger air bag comes out from the bottom. I would have thought it would come out from the top and protect the head first.

We were in a head on collision 2 years ago and I was surprised to see how our airbags worked too. The hard cover went towards the windshield and broke it, I imagine if it would have hit my knees with that much force it probably would have broke something. The SSR looks about the same, I wouldn't want that plastic cover hitting me!

Repairable

Strange, it looks like it actually might be repairable. The engine and transmission may be shot though, so who know. It is great that the owner is intact.

Also how do you always get notified of these? You probably hold the record for the most SSR sightings. Unfortunately they are all damaged.

Also notice how the hood crumpled without coming back into the windshield, something I have seen many times in other vehicles.
