with all that steel i'd hate to see the other car!

it really is amazing that in all three wrecks shown to date (or so) that the inside compartment holds up so well. none of us want to see this happen to our baby but at least if we are wearing belts we should be okay.

that's what you get for picking such an ugly color :lol

Just kidding.

But really what possess people to get a silver SSR? I have always thought people who get silver cars get them because they don't want to wash the car properly and silver can hide the imperfections. Other than that there is nothing, and I mean nothing, sporty about a silver car, IMHO. But that 's an opinion, they (SSRs) all look good.....

RED RED RED!
You never give up do you? :lol What color best shows off a vehicle? You might not like the answer but you will have to "concede" to the number one reason why all manufactures use Silver as their first choice to show off a vehicle's body lines... so please go back and visit the thread below

Why Siver is the Number One choice :D

Wreck

A little close to the topic.. What is the outcome of the wreck? Is the SSR to be totaled or repaired?
Also, if it's to be totaled is there any way I could get my hands on the rear calipers???

I've seen the thread marc. Please don't take offense, it's just my opinion and as you know I'm not that smart ;)

I've owned a silver car. ONCE! I hated it. It was a PT Cruiser and was gone less than 6 months but I found it to be so blah. Maybe my experience with PT makes me not like the color... I'm not biased, really, :) but i think (heck I know) that the red is the color to have.

Hi Redssrloaded,
Yes we both are having fun with colors here... actually I like them all. Silver was my choice at the time... I personaly like all the colors on the SSRs. I especially like metalic colors because of the flecks that reflect in the sunlight which to me makes a color appear more rich looking. Personaly I wish they would introduce some nice looking "candy" colors to the SSR. :yesnod

I'm curious, What are the calipers good for? You have a secret project in mind?
